These are a symptom of some cancers, where tumours erode major blood vessels resulting in extensive and rapid blood loss that leads to death. Estimates are unreliable but more than 1 in 10 people with advanced cancer could die this way. Guidance for the management of terminal haemorrhages suggests the use of dark sheets and towels to camouflage the extent of the blood loss. That’s it.

When I click “Get Token” for my Mastodon account, I’m sent to mastodon.social but I get “The redirect uri included is not valid” and it looks like:
