Just had a random urge to watch John Carpenter’s The Fog. Lovely sunny day here… not sure where that came from at all!

When your party has a majority it’s a “clear mandate from the people”. When the OTHER party has the majority it’s “unchecked power”.

Oh, dear. I think Ben is a bit confused.

“With what audacity do you compare Hamas that murdered, burned, butchered, decapitated, raped and kidnapped our brothers and sisters and the IDF soldiers fighting a just war.”

Well, I’m not sure we have any ironclad evidence of rape and kidnap against civilians by the IDF but we can definitely check-off “murdered, burned, butchered and decapitated” – it’s on the news every day. That’s how I’d compare them.

Whether you regard this as “just” or not is a matter of perspective but the actions of Hamas and the IDF are entirely comparable.

Just spent an hour fixing some code I wrote when I was in the same timezone as the server. School boy error really but I guess limited to those who usually live/work in GMT!

Also, and I guess this is a common problem in older code, I discovered that the way the dates were being stored is out-dated, so I had to update them all to DateTime. And that’s what really took the time!

Kind of glad I didn’t see Barbie at the cinema because the Snyder Cut gag drew easily the biggest LOL from me and I’m guessing that probably didn’t land that widely…

You know, Ryan Gosling is just two years younger than me, and I look at his physique in Barbie and I know that must have been a LOT of work and I feel a degree of sympathy for him (NB some ‘roids are basically legal in the States and we can’t rule that out as a possibility – no offence, Ryan)

Anyone else feel like Jonathan Nolan’s episodes were the weakest of the series? Not bad, just the least good… #Fallout

(While I fully respect any individual’s pronouns) I am toying with the idea of adding “We/They/Them” to the bottom of my email and, if queried, telling people I don’t identify as an individual. You know, just to see how they respond.
